The wood slides will need to be cut to size. Sometimes you will also need to cut a notch so it will lay in he dresser frame correctly. Cut it to match the other drawer slides. Then use a drill to add the screw holes before attaching it to the dresser. Metal slides will already be the correct length. Simply attach with screws to match the other drawers.
