What a find!

Had a very hard time finding a slide for a drawer for an old wood dresser. Once I located this company the fix was on! This slide is perfect. Two small easy cuts and it fit perfectly and the drawer is smooth as silk! I highly recommend!

excellent product and service

I have an old chest of drawers that had one drawer with a stripped wood drawer slide. I noticed that Vintage Slides had a drawer slide that matched the other existing slides so I purchased one. It was delivered in a few days and was well packed in a shipping tube.
I used the old stripped drawer slide to measure the length and then cut the new drawer slide to the correct length using a hack saw. I also used the old slide to locate the positions on the new slide for the two screw holes to mount the slide.
It was also necessary to remove about a one-inch length piece of wood from the bottom front part of the drawer slide because the front slide mounting board was higher than the rear slide mounting bord. This was easily done by making a small cross cut on the bottom of the drawer slide and then using a wood chisel to remove the layer of wood needed to align the front and back ends of the drawer slide. I then screwed the new drawer slide in place. The drawer then easily slid in and out without tipping up or down.
I am very happy with the service and the product I received from Vintage Slides and highly recommend Vintage Slides products for anyone who needs to repair a vintage wood drawer slide. Your vintage drawers will work as good as new after installing their products.
